Queen's Last Stand

Comment:

The last concert of the Works Tour 1985. This audience recording has excellent sound quality all the way through. It was originally released on LP, but this version comes from the CD release. There are a few pops/clicks here and there, but that's because of the original LP source. Queen played a great performance. The piano improvisation before Killer Queen features some parts of My Fairy King and you can hear some lines from Jerry Lee Lewis's song Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On during Jailhouse Rock! Brian and Freddie are both thanking the Queen crew and the audience as this was the last concert of the Works Tour. This is also the last concert ever played with Freddie in Japan. Complete version, only God Save The Queen is cut from the beginning. No copy errors. Not from mp3.

Queen's Last Stand 1985 Definitive Master

Comment:

This version comes from bootleg label ''Wardour'' and was released in 2019. It's most likely taken from the original master tape of the same audience source as the above version. The sound quality is even better and sounds much cleaner. Great release. The pitch is a bit slow on the original pressed silvers, but it's corrected on this version. No copy errors. Not from mp3.

The Last Concert In Japan

Comment:

This source comes from a Japanese bootleg label called ''Masterport'' and contains an audience recording in superb sound quality. There is already a very good audience recording available from this concert titled ''Queen's Last Stand'', but this recording from ''Masterport'' has even better sound quality. It sounds more closer to the stage. You can really hear the difference between both recordings as from the middle of I Want To Break Free till the end of the concert comes from the ''Queen's Last Stand'' bootleg. A must-have as this is the complete concert in a wonderful sound quality. No copy errors. Most likely not from mp3. It misses some of the high frequencies, but that's probably because of the remastering done by the bootleg label. Great release.
