Comment:

A good audience recording with decent sound quality from the fourth night at the Budokan Hall in Tokyo 1981. Brian includes a part of the Japanese song Sakura Sakura during his Guitar Solo. The encores are missing. This version comes from a bootleg label called ''Rag Doll Music'' and was released around 1995. The back cover claims that it includes Sheer Heart Attack, but it's not on the actual recording. No copy errors. Not from mp3.

Freddie Was Here!

Comment:

Complete audience recording from the fourth night at the Budokan Hall in Tokyo 1981. A second audience recording. Only Flash is cut from the beginning and misses the first 20 seconds. This version comes from a bootleg label called ''Masterport''. It has a good overall sound quality, but it also sounds a bit hollow and the bootleg label did a hiss reduction. There are some fade in and outs between the encores. Teo Torriatte is only less than 2 minutes long, as Freddie suddenly starts to sing it and he makes the crowd singing along with him. No copy errors. Not from mp3.

Prime Jive

Comment:

This version comes from a bootleg label called Wardour and these are discs 3 and 4 of a 4-disc set. Wardour claims that this copy comes from the unaltered master tape. This is a much cleaner and better transfer than the above version from ''Masterport''. It sounds more smooth and natural now. There is also more tape now between the encores. Flash is still cut from the beginning. No copy errors. Not from mp3.

Definitive Budokan 1981 4th Night

Comment:

Bootleg label Wardour released a second version of the same second audience source in 2019. Wardour probably just equalised this one to make the best out of it. They also filled in the first 20 second gap at the beginning of Flash, but for some reason they used that small bit from a recording of the second night in Tokyo 1981 (13th February). Complete recording. No copy errors. Not from mp3.

Comment:

A third audience recording. This recording made by ''Mr. Peach'', was released by a bootleg label called ''Tarantura''. The sound quality of the master tape is excellent, but the bootleg label added too much compression, which results in having distortion here and there throughout the whole recording. Still highly enjoyable, but it could have sound so much better.. It features the complete concert. No copy errors. Not from mp3.
